Yoga Prairie, LLC is located in thriving community in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, voted by Money Magazine as “The Best Place to Live” in 2010. Yoga Prairie studio opened March 1, 2008 and we are now known as a studio where community members make new friends and learn and practice yoga, an activity that contributes to your wellbeing and peace of mind. In the current times, we offer a rare opportunity to simply be quiet and focus on personal wellbeing.
What to expect and where to begin: It is easy to feel welcome in our studio. You can drop in 10 minutes before a class begins to sign up for that class, email us any questions or call and leave us a voice message. If you are new to yoga, it is a good idea to take 6 to 8 beginner classes first. If you are not new to yoga, any of our classes except the vinyasa, Ashtanga or Level 2 classes welcome new students. If you have had yoga training, know correct alignment, you can come to any class here. Our first priority is for our students to learn how to practice yoga safely and to feel comfortable here.

We offer daily yoga classes, also a state-licensed career school for yoga teacher training, and a unique staff of experienced, certified yoga instructors. We have 3 master yoga teachers on staff now and every teacher is dedicated to their craft by continually taking additional training and staying up-to-date on yoga teaching techniques, yoga therapy, and the latest findings in the ancient yoga practices.
Our style of yoga focuses on practicing with correct physical alignment (for your safety), and helping each student to achieve your goals for your practice. Yoga is a practice that helps us to align with body, mind and spirit, and we encourage our students to become more aware of physical sensations, breathing, letting go of distracting thoughts, and align with your spiritual life - no matter what religion you practice, this can deepen your connection to your own personal inner life.
We invite you to visit us, practice yoga with us and to "Relax, Breath & Smile". - Karen Kinnard
